Our Mission.

Passing gas. Breaking wind. Cutting muffins. Lettin’ one rip.

Whichever polite euphemism you prefer, it all means the same thing. And we all do it. (Yes, you too.) Yet, much like the unique design of a delicate snowflake, or the intricate pattern of a spider’s web, no too are the same. Each has its own personality. Its own temperament. Its own path. Its own character…much like the distinctive, (occasionally irritating), but always compelling characters in “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”

Our sincere hope is that you, dear reader, will find yourself in the place where these worlds collide, and discover that these two seemingly dissimilar subjects create a harmony sweeter than any duet by Craig and Ashley.

Leave us your thoughts, ideas, and wildest dreams in the comment box. We promise to read them.

Be the best (the best that you can be),
Degassi

The Drew

The Drew: Sudden, explosive outbursts may inspire comparisons to The Craig; however, any artistic or poetic qualities are overshadowed by a suffocating cloud of bravado.

Latest definition: The Bianca

The Bianca: Indiscriminate in its scope, yet lacking any real substance, The Bianca’s flagrant display generally garners attention from malcontents and hoodlums in a desperate attempt at validation, despite such feeble ephemerae.

Miss us? More definitions are here!

the Holly J: Tries to withhold true intentions but ultimately forcefully bursts into the room with an air of entitlement and revenge.

The Heather Sinclair: Possibly an urban legend-everyone is so sure of its existence that you begin to doubt if it ever existed.

Introducing the "Degassi" vernacular

The Spinner: Loud, obnoxious, lingers waaaay too long
The Manny: Just a "mess," really; usually accompanied by an airy whine
The JT: Relatively annoying, but surprisingly virile.
The Ashley: Somewhat musical in timbre, but you hate it every time she comes around, regardless.
The Paige: Annoying, Scene Stealer, forces everyone to acknowledge her even without their consent.
The Jay: You feel like it's going to let you down but then comes through at the end.
The Emma: A salad fart; relatively prissy.
The Craig: At first you're kind of intrigued...but then it sticks around just a little too long to be useful.
The Marco: Generally mellow, but can erupt during emotionally volatile situations; tends to gravitate toward males.
The Jimmy: Rushes in for the slam dunk, can't quite deliver, then rolls out slowly.
The Toby: A timid, less potent version of The JT.
The Jane: While the dramatic presentation might turn heads, people lose interest when they realize there's really nothing backing it up.
The "Snake": Comforting that you can count on him always being around, but equally disconcerting that you can count on him always being around.

What we've all been waiting for: The Anya & The Sav

The Anya: Lulls you into a false sense of security, then drops a major bomb

The Sav: Clumsy, cowardly and desperate-yet inexplicably charming.

This just in: The Johnny & The Bruce

The Johnny: Starts out forceful but trails off as if an apology on it's rough first impression.

The Bruce: Infiltrates where it doesn't belong, but always good for a laugh
